Night Gallery episode "The Last Laurel"
A memorable episode from the show Night Gallery that I remember watching in the 1980s (re-run). The Last Laurel is the second story in this episode and starts at 40 minutes and 38 seconds. I thought of this episode because of a discussion I'm having concerning whether human beings have an immaterial aspect to their makeup.

Based on the short story named "The Horsehair Trunk" by Davis Grubb which can be read HERE or HERE (this one definitely has typos when I compare it with the first link).
