Are Aliens and UFOs Actually Demons?

 

My view is that at least some UFOs [now call UAPs],  alien contactees and alien abductors are definitely Demons. But I'm not convinced all are. I don't think the genuine existence of extraterrestrials or extra-dimensionals in any way undermine the truth of Christianity. So, I would definitely agree with Akin in the video despite me being a Protestant like Ross while Akin is Roman Catholic.

At the end of the video Akin list 5 possibilities:

- extra-terrestrials 

- crypto-terrestrials

- inter-dimensional of the physical sort

- inter-dimensional of the spiritual sort

- time travel

An Astronomer's Quest by Hugh Ross

 

The following video is astrophysicist and Christian apologist Hugh Ross' lectures at one of the DECIDE Conferences. The lectures have been spliced together into one large 7 1/4 hours long video. One of my criticism of Hugh Ross is that he sometimes make overly dogmatic claims that surpass what the evidence actually would suggest. That he needs to be more modest in  his claims, less loose and more precise, measured and nuanced statements. Especially where some of his claims are grounded in speculation. For example, he'll say that everyone acknowledges the reality of fine-tuning. Actually, there are some scientists who dispute or at least question the reality of fine-tuning. If he were more precise and nuanced in his statements, he's say that most scientists acknowledge the apparent fine-tuning. And some who do might appeal to the multiverse to explain the fine-tuning away. See my blog, "Problems with the Multiverse" Ross also sometimes commits versions of the Texas Sharpshooter fallacy. Nevertheless, much of the evidences he presents, both individually and collectively, are suggestive of the existence of a cosmic designer, if one evaluates them more circumspectly.

Scientific Evidence for the Christian Faith

While I like him and his personality, one of my criticisms of Hugh Ross is that he often makes logical leaps in his argumentation. He doesn't have a philosopher's ability to make precise and modest claims that remain within the bounds of the actual evidence. Nevertheless, his fellow scientists who also happen to be atheists affirm Ross' informed and well rounded understanding of science in the related fields of his expertise (i.e. astrophysics). Because of that, the evidence he does present for design in the universe has some merit and weight. The above is just one of many lectures on YouTube where he presents some of the evidence.

Who Was Adam? lecture by Hugh Ross

This lecture was given right before the publication of the book with the same title. Ross states that fact in the lecture HERE. Therefore, this lecture was probably given 2005 before September. Since at least 2013 (probably much earlier) Fazale Rana and Hugh Ross have been in the process of revising and updating their book because of recent discoveries.
